Open during the evenings, The 9th Glass is the perfect place to stop by for an afternoon glass of wine, and should you decide to stay for dinner, offers a selective menu of delectable cuisine with the same high quality ingredients and recipes as its sister location, The 9th Floor, in Patong. Bringing a new and relaxing way to spend your evenings in Surin, you are sure to return to The 9th Glass again and again.
With a reputation for excellence and ingenuity, Executive Chef Anthony Reynolds has garnered more than 30 years of experience in kitchens around the world, previously working for Six Senses Koh Yao Noi and now taking the reins in the kitchens of The 9th Floor and The 9th Glass respectively bringing his talent and attention to detail to every dish.
With a creative and fun menu, Chef Anthony has made dining at The 9th Glass a unique experience by offering delicious tapas-style bites designed specifically to be paired with any number of the 160 labels on offer. The aim of the menu is to choose multiple items to enjoy and share with friends and family over a few glasses of wine, while learning different facts about your favorite labels or wine regions, or wines you have yet to enjoy. Craft beer, sake or any of our premium spirits also make a good addition to the many delectable items on the menu.
With a wonderful selection of creative tapas, such as aged goats cheese melted on crouton with tapenade, grilled polenta with balsamic onion confit and slow cooked tomatoes and Panko crusted onion rings with jalapeno mayonnaise, our wonderful bites are perfect for sharing with a few friends or enjoying on your own. Masterfully displayed on large wooden planks, we offer our tapas in a carefully planned pairing menu, ensuring that your wine is the perfect match for your menu selections.
Should you stay for dinner, we also offer a lovely selection of larger bites, mains, steaks and fresh seafood, as well as weekly specials listed on our blackboard. Keeping with the same quality and excellence as the sister location in Patong, you can be sure that whether you are here for a light meal, main course, dessert or our spectacular a la carte menu, you will be both impressed and satisfied.
In addition to our 160 labels of fine wine, we also offer classic and modern-style cocktails, such as mojitos, whisky sours, cosmopolitans and martinis, as well as imported sake, regular & premium spirits and weekly specials on delicious craft beer. With our stunning volcanic steel bar at the forefront of our location, positioned next to the full glass wine cellar, it’s easy to see the importance of creating a relaxing environment to enjoy with friends and loved ones at the end of the day. With our vast variety of beverages, even those who do not particularly enjoy wine can stop by and indulge in a few evening libations and enjoy our tapas, desserts or main course menu. If alcohol is not what you are seeking, we also offer a handful of mocktails, soft drinks and quality coffee and teas.
With 160 labels of wine, The 9th Glass aims to help guests enjoy the wonderful world of fine wine by offering unique and creative pairings, as well as luxury wine by the glass. Using preservations systems such as Le Verre du Vin and Coravin, we are able to offer a large range of wines by the glass whilst guaranteeing their freshness. Such fine wines include Clos D’Agon 2011 from Catalunya, Spain and Amarone Classico Della Valpolicella 2012 from Veneto, Italy.
We also have available our selection of fine wines in our own beautiful and artistic carafes, personally chosen for your occasion. And as always, our wonderful and knowledgeable staff is always available to offer any background information or suggestions to help in your pursuit of wine familiarity.
